Alli!!

So this is a blog in response to the perceived hesitation some people have about my metion of taking Alli weight loss aid. I know this may seem like a commercial lol but I only mean it to let people know that it is NOT a diet pill. Alli is the only FDA approved over-the-counter weight loss aid pill. It is the over-the-counter version of Xenical (Oristat) and at 60mg about half the strength. Alli works by preventing the absorbtion of about 25% of the fat you eat. It can help you lose up to 50% more than just diet and exercise alone. It is different from diet pills in that it is part of a lifestyle change and does not promise fast results but instead works with your body to produce results that can be maintained. It also only works in the GI track so that you don’t experience the jitters or mood swings that you get with diet pills that act in the brain as appetite suppressants. Alli helps to make sure your eating a low-fat diet and exercising. But it is a serious commitment and there are some possible “treatment effects” if you do not follow a low-fat diet with all that said its a personal decision but it is a safe one. Those who want to learn more there are TONS of information online (ex: www.myalli.com) concerning Alli and I encourage you to do some research if you are interested :) …I’m learning to eat to live instead of living to eat and you can too :)

Brand New Plan

Ok well to start I’ll introduce myself to the world. My name is Misha and I am 19 and will be starting my junior year in college this fall. I am a busy woman and full of life, and also terribly obese- what a dirty word lol. Anywho I am currently 250lbs :-0 !!! and I’m looking to get down to around 130 within a year. So 120lbs of fat gone in a year!? can it be done? you bet you tail it can and will. So how will I do this?? Good question! and how is this a “brand new plan”?- also a good question. So my weight loss plan for this year is as follows I will be going on a 5 day water fast- a way of detoxing, better self control, and I find that it helps better my relationship with food (I’ve got a terrible relationship with food). So for 5 days and nights I will only be drinking water (Sunday morning to Thursday night) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I will be reintroducing my body to food (juice-fruits & veggies-meats). On Monday I will start eating 3meals and 2snacks a day (like the 6week body makeover plan) and start taking my alli weight loss aid capsules -and thats 4weeks plus 1 week so thats my 5 week plan. The plan changes after 5 weeks because I go back to school and its hard to eat more that one square meal and healthy snacks are never around. But I’m thinking that I’ll eat one square meal and really healthy snacks every few hours to keep my metabolism up and keep taking my alli pills. All of this is of course paired with daily exercise. For the first 5weeks it’ll be 2hours a day but when I go back to school it’ll be closer to an hour a day. So part two how is this different from my previous attempts- it’s realistic! I have found that that is the biggest thing with sticking to a plan making it realistic-because when you don’t you set yourself up for failure. I have realistic weight loss expectations and its a do-able plan. I am more positive and more serious than ever before and I’m trying to find a good support system online too :). So I think thats it for now please please contact me if you are looking for a weight loss buddy!
